Gear Leg Intersection Fairings

Installed the Gear Leg Intersection Fairings purchased from RV-Bits in South Africa.

Time: 4 hours.

Added optional Avionics Access Plates to Front Top Skin.

Time: 4 hours.

Final trim of wheel fairing mounting plate buildup. Dimpled bottom center skin wing mounting holes. Added bottom countersunk platenuts to wing.

Time: 4 hours.

Bonded oak stiffeners to gear legs and wrapped them with fiberglass tape and saturated with resin.

Time: 4 hours.

Manufactured oak stiffeners.

Time: 4 hours.

Installed hinge in right fairing.

Time: 3 hours.

Trimmed gear leg fairings and installed hinge in left fairing.

Time: 4 hours.

Installed left wheel pant.

Time: 3 hours.

Installed right wheel pant.

Time: 4 hours.

Fit main wheel pants parts together, nut plates and screws.

Time: 5 hours.
