About

Leonard Westermeyer is a retired teacher and administrator who learned to fly as a teenager but spent most of his life in South America, where he did not have the opportunity to fly. Retired in Newman Lake, Washington, near Spokane, he is getting back into flying again. He just passed his Biennial Flight Review on January 10, 2018 and is now legal to fly as a Commercial Pilot. His lifelong dream has been to construct his own airplane, the realization of which is chronicled on this web site.
